Sept 2 SpinalCure Australia Racing for Research - Randwick Sydney

Support spinal cord injury research

SpinalCure Australia and Spinal Cord Injuries Australia will be rallying support for spinal cord injury research.

In partnership with the Australian Turf Club, this exciting event will bring the three organisations together for a fabulous spring day at the races. They’ll raise funds and awareness for Project Edge, the new research collaboration at UTS that will bring Professor Reggie Edgerton’s ground-breaking neurostimulation work to Australia.

Neurostimulation is proving to be one of the most promising emerging research fields for recovery from spinal cord injury. Trials show return of significant feeling and function for those with chronic and even complete injuries.

This event is also the chance to celebrate the start of Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Week in style! Spinal Cord Injuries Awareness Week commences 4 September and is a week-long, national campaign that aims to create a more inclusive and accessible community for everyone.

Ticket price includes access to the exclusive members’ reserve, glass of sparkling (or drink of your choice) on arrival and gourmet, two-course barbecue lunch with a guest MC. You’ll also get the chance to hear more about the research and win some fantastic prizes!

This is a great opportunity to rally your friends, family and networks togtether in support of a better future for Australians with SCI.
