Join us at The Gardens Club and celebrate International Women's Day with Women in Focus in Brisbane. As part of our Women in Focus International Women's Day event series we will be celebrating women's achievements to date, and highlighting the work still to be done to achieve these goals and empower women globally.

Women in Focus will be donating all ticket sales to the local Brisbane charity Cherish, of which Jan is a Director, an organisation dedicated to raising the awareness and the impact of gynecological cancers. 

We hope you can join us, and make your commitment to those supporting women in our community. We encourage you to share this event with the significant women in your life, your niece, daughter, mentoree or mother, and be part of empowering women and girls in our community.

Focus will be donating all ticket sales to the local Brisbane charity Cherish. Each year in Queensland alone, 1000 women are diagnosed with gynaecological cancer. One third will not survive and this number continues to rise. More than ever before, we need to increase research into improved gynaecological wellbeing. Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation is about cherishing women and their rights to receive the very best possible treatments. Cherish aims to increase awareness of gynaecological cancers and to raise funds for research into not only prevention but also into reducing the impact and improving the effectiveness of treatments available to women.
