Melanoma March - Townsville QLD - Has Ended

This early morning walk is easy and great for the whole family. Taking part is not only good for your health, but you're also fundraising and raising awareness for Australia's national cancer, melanoma. You're encouraged to take part as Australia unites to fight this devastating disease.

The team at Violets and Lace will be hosting their 3rd annual Melanoma March in Townsville in memory of their dear friend Katie-Lee Spence and all others affected by this disease. Melanoma March Townsville will take place beginning from Strand Park and marchers will walk to Tobruk Pool and return to the start location. Melanoma Marchers will complete a 4km loop before enjoying light entertainment, raffles and refreshments.

In 2015, participants of the event are welcome to march, walk, stroll or even run the event. We encourage if participants anticipate running this event, that they make their way to the front of the pack at the start of the event. Please note; this is not a timed event.
