Run for the Hills - Castle Hill NSW - Has Ended

The Hills News Hills M2 Run for the Hills will start and finish on Main Street, outside the Piazza at Castle Towers, Castle Hill. The 8km fun-run course winds through the rolling landscaped hills of historic Heritage Park, and takes in some of the undulating streets in the Hills District. The course will satisfy competitive runners, yet still accommodate the most laid-back fun-runners.
As per our Run for the Hills event in 2013, please note that there are two distinct finish lines for this event, due to our requirement to reopen the roads around the Castle Towers before 9am. Finish Line # 1 on Main Street, outside the Piazza is for our Start Pack of pre-qualified competitive runners. Finish Line # 2 at Old Castle Hill Road (near Pennant Street) is for our Casual Fun Runners.
Each participant will be tracked for time and safety through a state of the art Chronotrack RFID timing system, embedded in runners’ bibs, from Timing Sports. Participants will have access to their timing data online upon completion of the run. Finishers Certificates will be available for download, free-of-charge, after the event from marathon-photos.com.
There will be 3 water stations, sponsored by NAB, throughout the Hills News Hills M2 Run for the Hills course, located at:
- Corner Bounty Avenue and Tuckwell Road
- Banks Road as you enter Heritage Park
- At the Finish Line
Parking is available from 5.30am in Castle Towers Yellow Car Park (access off Pennant Street).
