Support The Duck Festival - Brisbane - Has Ended

Get your flock together and come and join in the biggest and quackiest festival race day in the country. There will be loads of family fun, rides, live music, kids entertainment, licensed area and a quacker of a good time.

The main event is the Duck Race where 40,000 rubber ducks will flock to the shores of the Brisbane River to take their place on the starting line in the race that quacks the Nation and battle their way to the finish line in the race against cancer.

The day also includes the curtain raiser Team Challenge where teams (made up of businesses, families or friends) take on a giant rubber race duck and fundraise to enter their duck into the Motor or Non-motorised Team Duck Race.

All proceeds go towards cancer research at the PA Hospital, one of the largest research campuses in the southern hemisphere and home of the world’s first cancer vaccine.
