Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival - Port Douglas QLD - Has Ended

On Nov 9th, the CANEGROWERS Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival will kick off in Port Douglas Queensland. EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS NOW!!!DescriptionOn November 9th, 2014, Port Douglas, Queensland, will play host to the most epic event of the year with the CANEGROWERS Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival. With marathon legend Steve Moneghetti leading the charge, participants from all over the world can run the 74km JCU Ultra Marathon, the 42km or the 21km half marathon along the fringing reefs and through the rainforest. 
Shorter races such ...as the 10km, the 5km and a 350m childrens race are also being held to ensure there is something for everyone. The finish line will be located along Wharf Street with celebrations to be held in Anzac Park.
The timing of the event is perfect with the race that stops the nation, Melbourne Cup being held on the Tuesday. Encourage your clients to come up to Port Douglas, participate in an event and stay on in paradise to watch the big event unfold at one of the many fantastic locations
