A group of young, motivated men and women from the PK4A Committee of Brisbane have joined together to establish a fashion fundraiser, Catwalk to Compassion.
After visiting the PK4A Syke St Orthodox Christian School in Freetown, Sierra Leone, it was evident that hygiene and sanitation was a major contributor to the dea...th of children occurring every month. Research shows that improvement of sanitation can reduce death and illness by up to 37% for children living in West Africa. This is a shocking figure.
So, with the support from sponsors like Cloudland, Teal & Tala and Red Square, PK4A have organised a fundraiser event dedicated to the latest fashion trends for men and women. All funds raised on the evening will contribute to building a new toilet block, clinic and hand washing bays in the Syke St Primary and Secondary School of Freetown. This will aid in the survival of the many children in dire need of assistance.
Tickets are limited and need to be pre-purchased. Entry includes bubbly on arrival and canapés, and prizes will be available through raffles and giveaways.
Please join us for a special evening of fun, food, music and fashion, to raise funds for a worthy cause. All funds raised go directly to the people in Africa; PK4A is a nonprofit organization.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.pk4a.com/c2c or www.tealandtala.com.au - 18+ Event
If you are unable to attend please think about donating to the cause at www.pk4a.com/c2c
Feel free to add friends and family to the event.
Thank you,
Jacqui Toumbas, Joanne Kalligeros, Harry Toumbas, Nicole Toumbas, Eleni Demetriou, Yiota Demetriou, Sam Demetriou, Kristina Casiotis, Sergio Demetriou, Harris Demetriou, Louis Demetriou, Harry (Jnr) Toumbas.
