Childhood Cancer Support is hosting a Talk Like a Pirate Day event, and we’d love you to join in the fun!
When: 10am – 2pm, Friday 19th September
Where: Kangaroo Point's Captain Burke Park
What’s On: A sausage sizzle, a Magic & Clown Show presented by Peebo & Dagwood, a jumping castle, face-painting, henna tattooing, spray paint tattooing, our annual treasure hunt and much more!
Cost: Free event!

Organised, sponsored and run by Childhood Cancer Support (CCS) - a charity that gives families outside of Brisbane affected by cancer a home away from home during treatment - Talk Like A Pirate Day seeks to raise awareness of the impacts that cancer has on families with diagnosed children, and how offering these families a home for no cost goes an awfully long way in reducing stress.
It is our firm belief that cancer is devastating enough for our families without having to worry about whether or not they'll be able to fight the battle together.
