Each year, the RMHC Perth Ball Committee hosts a gala fundraising ball to raise funds for local RMHC Perth programs. This ball is a big must on the Perth social calendar and attracts a glittering array of celebrities, local personalities, and generous sponsors and supporters alike, with one goal in mind, to have fun and raise as much money as possible to support the Perth house. Our Ball is organised by a voluntary Ball Committee, made up of McDonald’s owner/operators, and like-minded people. It raises significant amounts for our local Ronald McDonald House through ticket sales, sponsorships and auctions on the night.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities Mercedes-Benz Ball is Perth’s number one charity Ball with the hottest tickets in town snapped up 6 months prior to the night itself.
Last years Ball, with its Proud theme, saw its A-lister guests raise over $800,000 for Ronald McDonald House Perth.
Heather Small, who was the front woman for UK 90’s pop group M People, wowed the 1000 strong party-goers. She raised the roof with a magical show-stopping performance of her hit songs at Crown Perth’s Grand Ballroom, but it was Perth’s social set that sky-rocketed the Ball to new heights.
The $800,000 raised, was thanks to the generous ball attendees – reaffirming Perth’s RMHC Mercedes-Benz Ball as the most successful charity ball in the Southern hemisphere.
Guests ongoing support is critical to the long-term sustainability of our House and funds raised at this year’s ball will ensure WA’s only Ronald McDonald House, in Subiaco, continues to provide a supportive home-away-from- home for regional families while their children undergo treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Our Ball Committee comprises 11 members who meet on a regular basis. The committee is a mix of McDonald’s licensees and the business community who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and business acumen, all with the one goal in mind, to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House in Perth.
