Fashion Aid gears up for another star-studded spectacular with this year’s annual event held at the Crown Palladium on Saturday 13 September drawing inspiration from none other than Bond, 007 to celebrate seven years of memorable events.
Hosted by all-round funny chick Em Rusciano, with a line up of explosive performances from some of the hottest acts going around including an exhilarating set by electronic duo EMPiRE LIVE and Australian singing sensation, Harrison Craig, will see this year’s extravaganza go off with a bang.
A jam-packed evening of entertainment will also feature performances by pop-diva Prinnie Stevens (most recently seen backstage presenting for Channel Nine’s The Voice Kids) as well as a special guest DJ set by ground breaking local talent Andy Murphy from Jam Xpress to amp up the crowd before guests experience the latest fashions from some of our best local designers.
Stepping onto the runway and showing off their latest threads will be the simple yet sophisticated Sara Fox, the romantic and enchanting Alannah Hill, along with phenomenal evening wear by Belluccio. Also experience a mix of fairy tale bridal couture with Connie Simonetti, as well as the king of avant-garde Matcho Suba, and, making their runway debut will be the highly anticipated new menswear label, Sheep Shearer.
Each year Fashion Aid brings a whirlwind of excitement to the city, combining some of Australia’s finest fashion designers and performers under one roof, for a one night only event to raise money and awareness for some great charities and causes. This year, Fashion Aid 007 will be proudly supporting the Love Me Love You Foundation.
Love Me Love You is a not-for-profit organisation founded by former AFL footballer Lance Picioane. Love Me Love You is committed to the prevention, intervention and control of youth mental health disorders and related issues in Australia, and aims to empower young people to achieve their full potential in life.
With many secret surprises in store for this year, including a very special limited edition painting by Archibald People’s Award winning artist, Vincent Fantauzzo, to be auctioned off exclusively on the night of the event.
