Why: To raise awareness while also honouring and remembering those who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
71 Australians die a week from pancreatic cancer as there is currently no diagnostic tool for early detection. The more awareness that can be raised about pancreatic cancer and the symptoms, the greater the chance for earlier detection.
