Join us for R U Ok 2 Play Games Weekend : supporting R U Ok Day 2024!

Join us on Friday Evening the 20th September and Saturday the 21st September at The Community Place Kalinga for a casual and fun afternoon and evening of board games . This event is being held in collaboration with the 2024 R U Ok Day and our theme is " R U Ok 2 Play".

We all know how awesome board games are and how they are an amazing way of connecting people. It is our hope that with this day we can invite lots of new friends and make sure that everyone in our community is ok, opening up the conversations and supporting each other through a tough 2024.

WHAT'S ON THE BOARD GAMES MENU FOR THE WEEKEND!

FRIDAY NIGHT JOIN US FOR BOARD GAME TRIVIA AND GAMES! Doors open 5pm and we'll conclude by 10pm. Hosted by Steve Chivers from the Board Game Chinwag Podcast. We'll be having a couple of hours of fun trivia games to start the night and finish off with some casual gaming!

SATURDAY GAMES DAY 9am - 10pm Non stop gaming on Saturday - keep an eye out for our Board Game Teaches that will be available on the day. We will have a selection of options from signing up on the day to possibly signing up prior to the event.

We'll make sure to have as usual our yummy snacks and dinner provided, just bring your $2 coins for your drinks or feel free to use our eftpos machine which will be around on the day. It's always an amazing day and we welcome you if you are very new to gaming, we'll take care of you and make sure you are connected up with a table of friendly gamers.

Tickets are strictly limited. Refunds will be available up to 2 days prior to the event. Tickets for Friday Night and Saturday will be separate.

All attendees must purchase a ticket and we will be using both the upstairs and downstairs areas.

Saturday will be $15 as we will order pizza in for late afternoon dinner.
