Bats at EcoFiesta 2024 - Has Ended

Join us at the Bat Activity space at Ecofiesta, Cairns, and find out all about bats. This event is part of BatSoc's Bat Festival celebrations.

We've got our usual batty craft activities for the kids and the crawl-through bat sculpture, plus bat activity books and the new Spectacled Flying-fox eco board game for sale. Try out our Spectacled Flying-fox board game and then buy the game.

You can find out all about our bat work - our tree-planting and habitat restoration project, rescue, care and release program for injured and orphaned bats, future bat events including the Bat Festival on Sunday 9 June (an EcoFiesta satellite event), our community engagement activities and the work of the Spectacled Flying-fox Recovery Team and find out how you can help us recover the species and care for bats. Pick up some of our information brochures, recycle your 10 cents refund containers at our stall and/or vote for us so we can win some money to help feed hungry bats.

We can answer all your batty questions- we also have freebies and bat-themed goods for sale including our new bat postcards, bookmarks and beautifully locally designed spectacled flying-fox cards. All proceeds go to the hard working bat carers.
