Start of the 2014 NSW and QLD Variety Bash - Has Ended

Be sure to come on down to Suncorp Stadium on Friday 8 August to bid farewell to the NSW and QLD Variety Bash participants!

The Queensland 2014 XXXX Gold 'Cane Toads to Cockroaches' 25th Anniversary Variety Bash, as well as New South Wales 2014 Dick Smith B to B Bash, will both be departing from the stadium to kick start their 10 day, thousands of kilometre road trips, raising money for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children. 

The event, hosted by Variety - the Children's Charity, will see a total of of over 250 cars, and 650 people depart, travelling their own routes around the countyside before joining back up in Sydney for National Bash Celebrations on Satuday 16 August! 

The Variety Bash is the charity’s most successful fundraiser and has raised more than $200 million over the past 30 years enabling them to assist 100,000 kids each year. With $8.5 million net fundraised for Variety – the Children’s Charity in 2013, the Bash has set a fundraising target to exceed $8.5 million in 2014 to provide equipment and fulfill grants for kids and schools.
