Caritas Australia: Project Compassion Launch 2024 - Has Ended

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle invites you to the launch of the 2024 Project Compassion appeal themed “For All Future Generations”.

During the Liturgy, all attendees from across our schools, parishes and agencies are called forward by Parish region to receive their 2024 Project Compassion box and commissioning from Bishop Michael Kennedy.

Donations to Project Compassion allows Caritas Australia, the Catholic Agency for International Aid and Development, to work with local communities around the world to alleviate poverty, hunger, oppression and injustice.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, complimentary pancakes will be served at the Southern Cross Hall. **Gluten Free pancakes are available; please advise when prompted at registration**.

Date: Shrove Tuesday - 13 February 2024
Time: 10.15am for a 10:30am start, concluding at approximately 12.30pm.
Parking is limited, we advise arriving with sufficient time to locate suitable parking. There is also paid parking at the Wilson St Carpark, a short five minute walk away.
Location: Sacred Heart Cathedral, HAMILTON. Followed by Pancakes in the Southern Cross Hall.
