All proceeds donated to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and Olive Kids.

An event to amplify Palestinian voices, their stories, and their calls to action. Educating on the ongoing genocide in Palestine spanning 75 years, advocating for human rights, and actively standing against antisemitism.

With live music, poetry, spoken word, and active community discussion. Come in and take a seat, have some Arabic tea, get comfy. This is a safe space for all to attend.

Facilitated by Made in Palestine and trauma-informed art psychotherapist Matilda Brown.

This event will be hosted at West Space in Collingwood Yards, a leading creative hub in Melbourne / Naarm. Present in the gallery is an exhibition by Chris Ng, a First Generation “Australian” visual artist of South-East Asian and Chinese background. Her body of work “Where you from?” is a reflection on her experience living in Alice Springs / Mparntwe.

As we meet on Indigenous land, we must acknowledge the parallels between the Palestinian fight for liberation, and the historical struggle of First Nations people in Australia. Made in Palestine acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we meet, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.
