Stronger Together Black Tie Ball 2024 - Has Ended

We are excited to announce that Stronger Together for Spinal is kicking off 2024 with our Black Tie Event, raising awareness and funds for those affected by Spinal Cord Injury. Join us at NEX Newcastle on Saturday, 9 March, 2024.

Our fundraising efforts to date have allowed us to purchase 3 vehicles which are now converted for wheelchair access, operational and on the road. They are used to help get people with high level injuries to medical and rehabilitation appointments at no cost to the individual. Our goal this year is to raise funds to purchase a vehicle with assistive technology, allowing those with SCI to start the transition back to driving on the road. Currently, access to these vehicles, particularly with Space Drive, are located in Sydney and those hoping to return to driving must travel there for driving lessons, evaluations and assessments. For many people, driving is an important part of their daily routine. Being able to drive can mean greater independence and sense of freedom which many of us would take for granted. Of course we will also continue to keep raising funds to help fund research towards a cure.

Along with our guest speakers, we guarantee you a night of fun, music, inspiration, laughter, and the opportunity to get involved and help us make an impact in improving the lives of those affected by SCI.
