Our Mission

Humanity is one family bound together in common destiny. Our aim is to contribute to the foundation of a new social order for disenfranchised and isolated women, and the communities in which they live in by providing a safe space for conversation. Together we can create a global society.

We would be delighted if you could join us on Wednesday the 22nd of November for a special Christmas Bra Gifting Event that focuses on human connection, listening and compassion as well as assisting you with professionally fitted bras by our Bra Fitting Specialists, and we will supply you with underwear and toiletries along with some special Christmas Gifts to make you feel special.

Support The Girls Australia is an Australian born charity committed to creating a platform that changes the hearts of all women we meet. We are all about enabling women to rediscover their merits, reinstate their creative capacity, exalt their dignity, enable their motives and transform their relationships between themselves and their respective community.

Our aim is to provide a grassroots framework of action to empower women to escape the cycle of poverty, violence, trauma or multiple structural oppression's. Transformation of the individual and transformation of the community unfold simultaneously. Safe spaces are created for women from all walks of life to foster relationships with other women in the community regardless of income, creed, age, or cultural background.

Our events are open to any women, or persons that identify as a woman (and those with children). Our events are for anyone in need.

We do reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or persons that we deem could impact the well being of our "friends" or the event. If you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or not dressed appropriately we can refuse entry.

We are aware that some people have anxiety or special needs. Please let us know via Eventbrite how best we can cater to your needs. Your safety and well being is always our first priority.

Complimentary Tea and Coffee with refreshments will be served.

Reserving your fitting is essential to ensure that we can cater for everyone.

Your safety: Please be aware that we do have one specifically allocated photographer on the day but if you do not want your photograph taken, we do provide you with a wrist band that is a safety indicator for the photographer. This ensures your picture is not taken.

Is this event free? Yes it is. All you need to do is reserve your fitting.

I do not have access to a printer. Do I need a printed ticket? You do not need to show your ticket at the door. We will just need the name you booked under.

Can I bring children to the event? Yes children are most certainly welcome. There is a section in the registration process where you can advise us of how many children you are bringing and their age. This is vital to ensure we do not breach our COVID protocols.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is plenty of car parking within the Southport Community Centre. You will need a ticket. There is also free parking at Australia Fair for 3 hours.

Is there a limit to how many people can come? The venue only has the capacity to take 20 people for this event due to COVID restrictions.
