Coffee Brigade Fundraising dinner - Has Ended

We invite you to join us at the inaugural fundraising dinner for the Coffee Brigade Brisbane Inc (CBB). The CBB has, for the last 50+ years, been providing nutrition and connection every day of the year for anyone in need.

By attending this event you will be assisting to transform lives and create a lasting impact. Did you know there is an estimated 21,000 people without a home in Queensland? That is 1 in every 200 and 9,700 friends are without a home on any given night. And unfortunately, these numbers are growing. The Coffee Brigade provides coffee and sandwiches and most importantly, connection EVERY single day to those who are in need!

Holding this event in the amazing Pavilions at the Allan Border Field, we are grateful to have Carl Rackemann OAM as our special guest. Carl is best known for being a fast-bowling stalwart and he has had a lifetime commitment to cricket. Carl finished his career with 39 wickets from 12 Test matches and whilst remaining involved with Queensland Cricket, commentating on radio and television as well as writing for the Sunday Mail, he runs his own coaching camp in the holidays for aspiring children.

To compliment Carl, we have a passionate MC who is a celebrity interviewer as well as being a charity auctioneer. Evan Bancroft will no doubt raise the roof and entertain the room as we auction off (both silently and with noise) a spectacular line up of items as well as drawing several winners for the incredible prizes in our raffle.

It will be a special evening which will begin at 6pm with pre-dinner drinks out on The Pavilions, with a 6:30pm official start. We will have a 3-course meal in the captains’ room with sweeping views of the field, with wine and beer served throughout the night. We look forward to your company and participation during the night.
