Precious Wings Fundraising Luncheon 2023 - Has Ended

This year we are excited to announce our Gala Luncheon will be held at stunning Brisbane City Hall on the 14th October, and coincides with International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

The event will be hosted by our amazing MCs Those Two Girls.

Our luncheon is the most important source of income and with your support we can:

* Provide 1,200 memory boxes to bereaved families, including those in regional and remote Queensland

* Provide 1,500 miscarriage Memory Bags for families experiencing early pregnancy loss

* Increase our monthly support group meetings and extend these groups to also support grandparents and siblings

* Provide education to health professionals and funeral homes on how to care for bereaved families and how to use our Memory Boxes.

 What can I expect on the day?

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This is an over 18's event, we are sorry, children are not able to attend. We want to create a safe space for everyone. The remembrance slideshow which is played at the luncheon is very emotional and as this is a licensed event it is not suitable for children under 18.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is cocktail.

How many can fit on a table?

10 people to a table only.

 How can I book a table of 10 when don't have the names of all attending?

Book the table of 10, for the names you are unsure of, enter your name in the attendee field. You can log back in later to update the names and the dietary requirements. Please don't forget to do this as we cannot accommodate late dietary requirements. If members on your table have children they would like included in the remembrance slideshow, this information must be entered when purchasing tickets. Name of child/ren and date/s are required to ensure they are included on the day.

How can I let Precious Wings know who I want to sit with?

Nominate a 'table captain' and enter their name in the required field when booking your ticket.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, log back into Eventbrite before SEPTEMBER 16 to update details.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are available until the 1st September, after this date refunds are no longer available. You can transfer your ticket to someone else.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes it is, we understand plans change. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you can bring the electronic version of your tickets on your smart device.

Is it a women’s only event?

No! The luncheon is open to anyone, men and women. Traditionally, we have more women who come but at our last event we had lots men attending.

Is it just non-alcoholic drinks included in the drinks package?

This year we will be having a beverage package for 4 hours which will include alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
