On Saturday 19th of July, the Global Immersion team will be hosting a charity fashion parade in aid of raising money towards The School of St Jude’s in Tanzania.

The School of St Jude’s is a charity-based primary and secondary school founded by Australian woman, Gemma Sisia. Gemma started the school with the key mission of “fighting poverty through education.” Through her passion and initiative, St Jude’s has been able to provide over 1,500 poverty-stricken Tanzanian children the opportunity to receive not only a free, high-quality education, but the chance to really make a difference in the world they live in.

With your help and support, you too can make a difference! The funds raised from our charity fashion parade will be going directly towards the St Jude’s students. You will be helping the young Tanzanian children who never in their wildest dreams thought they could receive the gift of education. Together we can help change the lives of these bright and hopeful students living in extreme poverty, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential at The School of St Jude’s.

The St Jude’s Charity Fashion Parade will be held at the Kedron Wavell Services Club in their Blue Pacific Function Room on Saturday, 19th July. Doors will open at 6:30pm with a 8:00pm show time. The dress code for the event is cocktail attire.

Tickets are $59 and can be bought via PayPal or Bank Deposit (please see payment details below.)

Included within your ticket will be a free drink on arrival…your choice of champagne, wine, beer or soft drink. Drinks on the night can then be purchased via the bars inside our function room at very reasonable prices thanks to the generosity of the Kedron Wavell Club. A range of canapés will be offered through out the night as well as a free gift bag filled with a range of vouchers and goodies!

Be prepared to be blown away by the designs and labels we will have on parade. We will be showcasing a range of local-based brands, including both women’s and men’s wear. Plus, who wouldn’t want the chance to be up close and personal with Brisbane’s finest female and male models!

Get ready for an evening filled with some pretty high-class entertainment as this is not your everyday fashion show! Global Immersion always likes to do things in our own unique style…we will have a fair few surprise acts and performances on the night that will guarantee this is not an event to be missed!

And announcing our MAJOR PRIZE for the night….one lucky person will win a trip to Africa, including return flights and 9 days at The School of St Jude’s and other African Communities! Departing on December 4th this year, don’t miss out on your chance to win!! Raffle tickets into this amazing prize can be purchased on the night.
