Today 18 women will hear the words “you have gynaecological cancer”.  A third of them will not survive five years.

Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation is hosting a annual Cocktail Dinner ‘For a Kinder tomorrow’ on Saturday 12 August at JW Marriott Gold Coast.  It will raise funds to support medical research to make transformative impact and save the lives of future generations.  The cancer diagnosis can’t be changed but Cherish are committed to creating a kinder tomorrow by funding vital clinical trials and research to find causes, prevention, and gentler treatment options for future generations.

Tickets are $230 per person and include gourmet three-course dinner and premium drinks, guest speakers, entertainment, live auctions and an exclusive jewellery raffle, socialising, and dancing.

Cherish the women you love.  Join Cherish to create a kinder tomorrow.

DO Supports

Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation raises awareness and funds vital medical research and clinical trials to be developed and implemented quickly to find kinder ways to treat women with gynaecological cancer and to ultimately improve survival rates. We fund research that optimises gynaecological cancer early detection, diagnosis, treatment, survival rates and quality of life. Each year over 6,700 Australian women and girls are diagnosed with gynaecological cancer and this number is increasing annually and almost a third will not survive their disease. Gynaecological cancers (ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and vulvar) are the third most common cancer diagnosed in Australian women. Cherish has a clear vision to transform the standard care of women and girls diagnosed with gynaecological cancer from rigid, institution-centred methods to a contemporary, personalised informed approach with research to be conducted and then implemented into clinical practice. We can’t change the cancer diagnosis, but we are committed to creating a kinder tomorrow by funding life-changing clinical trials and research to find causes, prevention, and gentler treatment options for future generations to come.
