The second annual walk for DonateLife SA will take place on Sunday, 23 July 2023 this year at Adelaide’s Barr Smith Walk (Adelaide Riverbank Lawns), in front of the Adelaide Convention Centre.

The walk officially kicks off DonateLife Week 2023 in South Australia, which plays a vital role in encouraging more Australians to register to be and organ and tissue donor.

Participants can partake in a 0.5 km, 2.5 km or 3 km loop distance. Feel free to walk or run with your family, friends or even your dog (on a leash) at your own pace.

For those of you who have a loved one who gave the gift of life and would like to dedicate your walk to them we encourage you to bring along a photo or memento of that person on your walk/run.

Marcelo Carrusca, the legendary Argentine-Australian professional footballer renowned for his attacking midfield skills, will be leading a soccer skills clinic, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn from the best.

There will be a range of refreshments available, including a sausage sizzle (with a gold coin donation to the Lions Club) and mobile food trucks. A coffee van will be on site to serve up your favourite hot beverage. And for the younger attendees and families, a face painter will be on hand to create fun and colourful designs along with a cartoonist to sketch quick caricatures for participants.

It is recommended participants bring their own water bottles. The SA Water Quench Bench will be available for attendees to fill up and refill their drink bottles with free drinking water.

Note: This is an environmentally aware event. Printed tickets are not required.
