2023 Annies Army Long Lunch Fundraiser @ Piccolo Cucina - Has Ended

Indulge in a delightful 3-course meal accompanied by beer and wine, as well as refreshing drinks. This event promises an enjoyable dining experience while supporting a great cause—the Cairns Cardiac Unit.

Annie's Army was established in early 2018 as a tribute to Annie Lyngcoln, who valiantly battled heart complications before passing away in November 2017.

The mission of Annie's Army is to raise vital funds for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, aiming for an target of $10,000 per year.

Over the years, Annie's Army has accomplished remarkable challenges, including the 7-day hike of the Kokoda trail, the Cardiac Challenge (Cairns to Cooktown ride) 5 times , Amateur boxing matches, and Annie's Long Luncheon Fundraiser. Also a new event the Paint n Sip has been added in 2023

These endeavors have garnered incredible support from the Cairns community and have raised over $84,000 for the Cairns Cardiac Unit since its inception.

This year, Annie's Army has set a target of $25,000, with the hope of reaching a milestone of raising the 100,000th dollar for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation in just over 5 years.

To achieve this goal, we invite you to join us at Piccolo Cucina on Friday the 1st September for our fundraising event. In addition to the amazing 3-course lunch and drinks, there will be exciting auctions, Raffles, lucky door prizes, and an inspiring guest speaker all for $99 per ticket.

Money raised from the event will be donated to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, supporting their invaluable work in the community.
