Forever 31 Long Lunch - Has Ended

In July 2021, the Handford family's life was changed forever when their 31 year old seemingly fit son, Kade, died from a heart attack. In the ensuing time, we have come to learn that this is happening to more young people than we realise.

To honour Kade’s memory, in August 2022, we planned a fundraising event to increase awareness and to raise funds for the Toowoomba local Ambulance Committee. The inaugural ‘Forever 31 Long Lunch’ was an outstanding success and raised approximately $22,000. Some of this money has already provided the Local Ambulance with a manikin that will allow the crews to train in specialised scenarios regarding heart situations.

Due to the overwhelming success and patronage of last year’s event, we have decided to continue raising awareness of heart health and once again fundraise for the Toowoomba local Ambulance in memory of Kade. This year’s event will be held on the 26th August at the beautiful “Aberfeldy Farm” near Westbrook and will include market stalls, raffles, and auction.

The day will include a 3 course meal, cash bar, live music and market stalls, live auction and raffles.
