St Francis Social : Winter Dance - Has Ended

Thanks to the amazing support and response to our first dance in February, we’ve set the date for Social #2 on Saturday 10 June 2023 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Hall, West End!

What is the St Francis Social? Good tunes + good dancing + good people + for a good cause... basically, just a really good night out!

Inspired by the Catholic parish dances held around Brisbane during the 1950s – 1970s (ask your parents/grandparents about them!), the St Francis Social is a good ol' fashion dance/social mixer for young adults aged 18 - 39, with a bit of fundraising for local charities thrown in for good measure.

All profits from Social #2 (including ticket sales, drink purchases and raffle tickets) will be donated to Emmanuel City Mission to help fund the amazing work they do to support the homeless and vulnerable in Brisbane.

Tickets cost $20 per person (plus Eventbrite processing fee) and includes 1 drink (beer, wine or soft drink). Additional drinks may be purchased at the bar on the night, with all profits going to our fundraising efforts.
