Join the Australian Community Transport Association (ACTA), VICTAS and our partners for two days of shared learning, networking, support, and development opportunities, as we explore the future of community-led, accessible, inclusive, and sustainable transport across Australia.

To be held in Melbourne at the Moonee Valley Racecourse Conference Centre, it will be focusing on the people across Australia who rely on inclusive transport networks and the social value that is created through community-led transport.

What will we be talking about: We are excited to be having speakers from people with lived experience, government, our sector, and industry.

We can announce a special international guest, Victoria Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer of Community Transport UK, who will be sharing how CT works in UK and what we may be able to take from their experience.

ACTA has been working with the Federal Government on new models of community transport and funding models after CHSP. The first morning ACTA will be discussing these and have a panel to take questions and hear your feedback.

Dr Nick Hartland PSM. First Assistant Secretary of the Home and Residential Division, Ageing and Aged Group, Department of Health and Aged Care will also be attending to update us on the reform process occurring in the aged care sector.

The Lived experience panel will look at the sector from their angle and give valuable insights and ideas about were to from here.

We also have Dr Shona Bass who will give us insights into what it takes to engage people into volunteering- recent research and ideas.
