The Great Debate is our biggest night of the year showcasing the work of Dymocks Children’s Charities while raising much-needed funds to support much need literacy programs for disadvantaged children across Australia.
Taking place at the five-star Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney’s CBD, guests enjoy a premium three-course dinner and carefully selected fine wines. But that’s not all, The Great Debate guests are kept entertained throughout the evening by an outstanding line-up of celebrity personalities, notably, our Dymock’s Children’s Charities ambassadors Adam Spencer & Rob Carlton who always ensure a memorable evening is had by all!
The lively banter of the Great Debate is interspersed with an exciting live auction and opportunities to bid on luxurious silent auction items. Our 2022 Great Debate Gala fundraiser raised a record-breaking $372,000 with all funds raised on the night going directly to Dymocks Children’s Charities to fund life-changing literacy programs. Our programs support children who have little or no access to good books; and restock priority school libraries, community centres, hospitals, and classrooms and provide brand new books for children to take home and cherish.
