Movie Fundraiser : Mothering Sunday - Has Ended

We are ‘Oceans 8’…. We are a group of eight close friends, coming together with a mission to support the thousands of Australians who experience anxiety or depression and those who are affected by suicide.

We’ve signed up to complete the 2022 Coastrek event - walking 30km’s along the beautiful coastline between Victor Harbour and Goolwa.

We’ve done it once and we’re excited to be doing it all again. We know the experience will be fun, invigorating, inspiring, energising and memorable. The view will be spectacular; we’ll talk, laugh and connect km by km.

But above all our aim is to change lives. Did you know that each contact to the Beyond Blue Support Service costs around $48 to answer? The money we raise through our participation will help connect people with immediate support, advice and referrals.

Our mission is to raise $4,000 and to achieve this we’re hosting a movie night on 5 June and you’re invited!.

The movie we’ve chosen is Mothering Sunday - if you haven’t seen the trailer here it is (well worth watching).

The wonderful team at The Regal on Kensington Road are opening up their gorgeous theatre for us at 2.30pm and the movie will start at 3pm. We’ll have a beautiful piccolo of sparkling and some tasty treats upon your arrival - and a few surprises before you leave.
