A little bit of information about Meaghan.

Meaghan is the principal of Hastings Secondary College, Port Macquarie Campus. It’s a dream come true, as she attended the school as a student and always hoped to come back one day as Principal.

With a tight knit family, Meaghan is inspired by her 3 children to do her best and keep going even when the going gets tough. Cancer has touched her life, with her beautiful niece one of the lucky ones who successfully fought breast cancer. Yet she sadly lost a dear friend to cancer several years ago.

Meaghan has a firm belief that we should all embrace opportunities for professional and personal growth. Thus, she’s embracing this opportunity with both hands, or should be say her dancing feet! She is encouraged by the research developments that are improving cancer outcomes and excited to contribute to the valuable work of Cancer Council NSW.
