Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival returns for 2021 with expanded venue and over 40 exhibitors – Saturday 20 March, 2021

Mercure Canberra will host the 14^th Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday 20 March with an expanded venue and special Covid-safe arrangements.

Australia’s premier celebration of craft brewers has been reconfigured with an expanded area, including the grounds of the Mercure Canberra and the adjoining lawns of Batman and Gooreen Streets in Braddon. The expansion of the event has been made possible as a result of a grant from the ACT Government to support events.

Once again, the Festival will help raise funds for Rise Above Capital Region Cancer Relief, a locally based group that provides support for over 950 cancer patients.

To ensure a comfortable, safe and uncrowded environment, the Festival will now be split into two ticketed sessions from 11am to 2pm and 3pm to 6pm. All transactions will be cashless, with a simple tap-and-go system in place for purchases.

Some 40 local and interstate exhibitors will be presenting up to 250 craft beers and ciders for tasting. There will also be beer/cider food-matching sessions, guest speakers and ‘meet the brewers’ sessions. A range of dining options (including local gourmet food vendors), live entertainment and family activities will be available throughout the day.

TICKETS -

General Admission - $20pp + processing fee

On the day - $30pp + processing fee

Tickets includes entry into the festival, access to 40+ of the best local & interstate craft breweries, gourmet food vendors, live music, and other festival activities. Any food or beverages are to be purchased within the festival

Children under 18 years old are free of charge.

SESSIONS: Session 1: 11am-2pm & Session 2: 3-6pm

TASTINGS: Tastings are available for $4 each (150ml).

CASHLESS EVENT: The event is cashless with the simple tap-and-go Square system. Simply bring your credit or debit card to tap away at any of the brewer or food stalls. Easy peasy!
