TWIN RIVERS LIONS CLUB INC – Our primary focus is on our Environment - helping to raise community awareness encouraging environmental sustainability in our daily living.
Twin Rivers District is located in eastern Victoria, between two rivers, Tambo and Nicholson, this district includes Swan Reach, Johnsonville, Nicholson, Tambo Upper, Bumberrah & surrounds. These 2 rivers flow directlyfrom the Great Dividing Range into the Gippsland Lakes System and out into the ocean at Lakes Entrance.
Our club's Signature Project is Twin Rivers Lions Recycle Workshop which supports and facilitates the Twin Rivers Lions Club's other activities such as the POP UP Recycle Shop in the Nicholson Street Mall several times throughout the year; Daylight Savings month we hold the Twin Rivers Lions Market in Swan Reach (cnr Princes Hwy & Swan Reach Rd).
Commencing 2020 we will be holding a bi-annual Twin Rivers Lions Art Show
We are an active group who enjoys helping make a positive outcomes in our local area, we love to socialise as a group, and we welcome and enjoy the merry band of volunteers who work along side us in our group's activities.
