Migraine is the leading cause of disability in Australia. The cost to the Australian economy during 2018 was nearly 40 billion $!  This disorder continues to be the most neglected, least respected, worst managed brain disorder in the world, certainly in Australia. There are over five million migraine patients in Australia. This disorder is stigmatized to the extent that there is very little teaching on this topic in our medical schools and even in neurology specialist training programs.  We are determined to change this forever. This is something that we should be able to fix 100%. Let us show the power of people. Let us rally around this disabling disorder and promote better brain health for everyone with a massive advocacy program.  Let us change the generations of lack of equity in health care between east and west of Melbourne. This is the greatest country in the world and we are citizens with equal rights to access to care and access to good specialists irrespective of our suburb or background. Let us fight against migraine together!  Support us by joining us to show our leaders and encourage them to help us to help you. This is not about us. This is about you. All Australians that is. See you on 21st to celebrate the World Brain Day 2019. We have the fortune of having the global Chair from our very own Melbourne, Australia!
