Wombat's Wish is Geelong's own not-for-profit providing specialist support for bereaved children whom have lost a parent. Tickets are now on sale for an evening with Frank Costa OAM and Brian Cook, the CEO of the Geelong Football Club. It will be fantastic night where we discuss with Frank and Brian, Geelong - the city, Geelong - the football club, great stories and their involvement with Wombat's Wish. All proceeds of the night will go to Wombat's Wish to support children and their families attend future camps and receive our specialist support. The night will also include live music and the auction of great items 

Tickets will be on-sale until Friday July 12.

DO Supports

Each year, approximately 100 children in the Geelong area experience the death of a parent. Currently, Wombat’s Wish is the only specialist service that offers support to these children. This is an extremely difficult time for them and their family, and this can potentially result in long-term emotional health problems. We assist bereaved children to find a way to live with loss and grief, to move forward and take the next steps on their bereavement journey.
