Kick for The Kids 2019 - Has Ended

The Good Friday Appeal invites you to attend the 2019 Toyota AFL Kick for the Kids. For the third consecutive year, the annual Good Friday match will be between North Melbourne and Essendon football clubs.

$5 from every adult ticket and $10 from every family ticket sold will go towards the Appeal with plenty of activities for the whole family before and throughout the game itself. All attendees can expect the ultimate footy experience helping to raise much needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
The day will also feature a ‘Purple Zone’ with fairy floss, live music, a jumping castle, circus entertainment and Marvel special guests.

The Good Friday Appeal is the Royal Children’s Hospital largest fundraiser raising funds for the kids of Australia who need much-needed support. This year the funds from the Appeal will go towards patient and family centered care, equipment and technology, research and leadership, and education and training.

The first Appeal took place in 1931 with a veteran’s football match to raise funds for sick kids and since then the Good Friday Appeal and the AFL have been intrinsically linked.
