Peninsula Home Hospice’s inaugural Conquer The Course charity walk and fun run is being held this May. This new community event is being held to raise awareness and funds for Peninsula Home Hospice, a not for profit organisation who provide free specialist palliative care in the home.

The event is focusing on health and well being, encouraging participation in a fun outdoor activity, in a unique environment (held on a race course!), with the option to complete the 5km or 2km course. Provision is also being made for entrants with mobility aids (ie wheelchair, mobility scooter etc).

Gates open at 9:30am, and entrants need to be ready at 10:30am, with races commencing at 11:00am.

There will also be market stalls, food and beverage stalls, kids activities, and entertainment to enjoy until 2:00pm. All participants will receive a finisher medal, and entrants have the option to have their medal engraved ($10 each) onsite. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed female and male for each course will also receive a place getter medal, plus an award will be given to the largest team entered.

Plenty of parking is available and a gold coin donation will be greatly appreciated. Early bird tickets are available until 14 Apr 19, which include extra benefits and lower ticket prices. Prices will then increase on 15 Apr 19 and tickets are available up until race day.
