A Wealth of Words - WestWords Fundraising Dinner - Has Ended
DO Details
"Working with WestWords changed my life. It’s helped me with my confidence, it’s helped me with my writing skills, with how I write, with the way I view writing. They basically made me a better person."
Ali, a 15-year-old student at Granville Boys High School after the Landscape, Place and Me project
WestWords believes in the power of literature and literacy (written, oral and visual), self-expression and creativity to change the lives of young people and children and the experience of communities within Western Sydney.
Young people just like Ali.
We truly believe WestWords changes lives. In 2018 alone we partnered with over 30 organisations and an additional 29 primary and high schools working with 95 professional writers, educators, editors, and allied artists.
But we need YOUR support to reach even more young people, just like Ali.
Please join us for an evening of great food, excellent speakers, enticing silent auctions and fascinating conversation with published writers and illustrators who will share their personal stories and experiences at each table.
