We welcome those who love markets. And the news is that the Lions Club of East Fremantle have begun a new Arts and Craft Market down on the shore of the Swan River, amongst shady trees and cool river breezes, and it also has a pristine beach with a shower/toilet facilities.

We have a great playground, a bouncy castle, face painting, a circus-type photo-booth, buskers or nice music, great food, cakes, coffee and an adventurous atmosphere for the kids...memorable for them! A Kiddies Train is expected to be up and runing for January or February!

It runs 9:00am–1:00pm. It is a community event, supported by The Town of East Fremantle, designed to assist our community, and all proceeds go to worthwhile charities, both local and further afield. Lions is the most prestigious service club, and is recognised world-wide for it's work...any wishing to join in and help will be welcome!

The Lions Clubs of Fremantle and Booragoon also are part of the team...so supporting the market supports their good work as well. You can talk to any of them...and ask to help in our service.

Please come down with the family (and dog) for the morning. Food is economically available from the Lions or Scouts BBQ, and from the coffee and food stalls. A new cafe has just opened at the adjoining Fremantle Rowers Club, and Lions sell the good old 9and economical) sausage sizzles. Of course many other restaurants are close by for the high-flyer!

Wow! Our market is the arguably the best venue in Perth for leisure-time with family and friends. Indulge a little, and to buy those quirky gifts!
