Bluestocking Week Feminist Trivia Night - Has Ended
DO Details
Join us for a night of fun for a cause at NTEU’s Bluestocking Week Feminist Trivia Night!
Bluestocking Week is a time to celebrate the achievements of women in tertiary education. It’s also a reminder that unionists have a lot to fight for to achieve gender equality in the workplace, including equal pay, domestic violence leave and job security. That’s why this year’s theme is ‘Change The Rules for Women’, because the current workplace rules are holding us back!
This year, we’ll be raising money to support the ‘Jobs for Women’ film project. ‘Jobs for Women’ is afeature documentary in the works, about the epic (1980-94) struggle for the right for women to work at BHP’s Port Kembla steelworks. More info here:https://www.facebook.com/JobsForWomenFilm/.
