DO Details

You are invited to join Dialysis Escape Line Australia  for our annual Adelaide Fundraiser as we transport you to a Night in Havana.

Upon entry you will be greeted with a Mojito, the bar will flow for the first two hours with beer, wine and soft drinks and we will provide plenty of finger food to keep you dancing.

If you are a lucky pirate you will be leaving your Night in Havana with treasure! Pre-purchase a Lucky Key for our  chest to see if you can unlock the mystery box.  Limited numbers of keys are available at $50 per key.

Take a pick from our Wall of Wine.  Pre-purchase a Wine Wall Ticket and see if you can pick out a hidden gem from our wine wall.  The wines will be wrapped in paper bags - if you know your wines perhaps you will be able to guess what lies beneath, or just take a gamble and enjoy.  Limited numbers of Wine Wall picks are available at $20 per pick.

Join us for a fun night of Havana themed entertainment whilst we raise funds for a great cause.  Limited number of tickets are available, gather your friends and family and join us for a fun night out!

DO Supports

DELA gives renal patients freedom from their everyday surrounds. Nancy Douglas-Irving OAM and Enzo Scipioni OAM, having together experienced almost 20 years of dialysis for kidney failure, established DELA in 1998. Today, the organization is operated by a small team of dedicated volunteers, led by Nancy, Enzo and Wayne Cooper, who are passionate about providing opportunities for dialysis patients. Nancy, Enzo and Wayne set out to address the restricted lifestyle imposed by dialysis by setting up temporary dialysis units at resorts and on cruise ships to allow patients a holiday, without the stress and difficulties commonly experienced when organizing treatment away from home. DELA offers “getaways ” 2-3 times a year for groups of up to 12 patients with their partners and also produces a newsletter that is distributed to all dialysis units across Australia. One of DELA’s aims is to help renal patients regain their confidence to travel. This service also provides respite to the partner and family members who care for the person requiring dialysis. Long-term friendships are often made among the travellers.
