Homelessness NSW is pleased to announce that our 2018 Conference will be held at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach on March 15th and 16th 2018.

 The conference theme in 2018 is ‘Housing ends Homelessness’ which highlights the importance of investing in social and affordable housing options to prevent and respond to the growing rates of homelessness.

 Over the two days, housing and homelessness service professionals from the private, not for profit, corporate and government sectors will come together to share expertise and collaborate on the development of new initiatives to address homelessness.

The 2018 conference program has been designed to enable delegates to learn and share on a broad range of issues related to homelessness - from housing models, trauma informed care, specialist support such as working with clients with disability, mental health issues and people leaving custody to outcomes reporting, social and affordable housing policy and financial inclusion.

Homelessness NSW is a peak not for profit organisation that works with its members to prevent and reduce homelessness across NSW. Key services that we provide include policy development and advocacy in working to end homelessness, public education about the changing faces of homeless people and those at risk, information about the diverse mix of initiatives operating in NSW and elsewhere and advice and support for member organisations and others about organisational change and improvement
