Australia is now the 3rd biggest podcast consuming country on the planet. Put simply, Australians love listening to podcasts, whether commuting to work, at work, on the move, in the car, at home, doing housework or at the gym.
In a world of busyness, distraction and ever shortening attention spans, podcasts have the ability to captivate listeners for up to 45 minutes per week. This makes podcasting a key emerging content medium and community building tool for not for profits and their key stakeholders.
Podcasting is the ideal medium to spread your purpose-driven message and grow your community of supporters, partners and donors. It can also be a key element in developing an integrated marketing strategy that will engage, captivate and grow your community.
Our Workshop
Following the success of our last sold out Grow Your Business With Podcasting Workshop, we've decided to take our approach to the community sector. Mike and Drew, Creators and Hosts of the Humans of Purpose and Pathways podcast, will walk you through a workshop dedicated to empowering you to create a powerful and engaging podcast series.
The hosts will teach you how to develop an award-winning podcast, that will resonate with your key stakeholders and to integrate this with your marketing strategy. We will run through key strategies, frameworks and everything you need to know to produce a great podcast.
This will include examples of Mike and Drew's journey and experiences as successful podcasts, blended with best practice case studies and emerging trends from around the world. If you want to take your marketing to the next level and engage in new and emerging ways, this workshop is for you.

Your Presenters
Mike Davis is the Founding Director of Purposeful, a B Corp and strategic consultancy, helping organisations to create and narrate greater social impact. He is also Creator and Host of the Humans of Purpose podcast and a Director at SIMNA, Australia’s leading social impact measurement network.
Drew Corby is Strategy Director at Purposeful, and was previously Co-Founder of Acacia Academy, a digital marketing and strategy agency and academy, empowering business leaders to optimise their digital marketing strategy and build strong communities. He is the Creator and Host of the Pathways podcast.
