The Pararoos, their sponsor Zest Care, and Football New South Wales invite you to attend the inaugural Pararoos Gala Dinner - a celebration of the 2017 Para-Nationals Championships at Valentines Sports Park.

Join the Pararoos as they share their journey towards the 2019 World Cup. You will get the inside scoop on their recent achievements at the World Championships in Argentina where they finished in the top ten for the first time, what they hope to achieve in 2018 and how being a Pararoo has changed their lives.

The Gala Dinner will not only celebrate the Pararoos' achievements but also discover the next generation of Pararoos coming through the ranks as part of the 2017 Para-Nationals Championships.

Tickets are complimentary but you will have the opportunity to support the Pararoos with a donation of your choice.

By adding a donation to your ticket to the Pararoos Gala Dinner,  or in lieu of your attendance, you will be supporting the Pararoos continue on their journey towards the 2019 World Cup.

This project is run in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (Foundation) so donors can receive tax deductions for their donations.  The Foundation (ABN 27 008 613 858) was established by the Australian Government to raise funds through public and corporate donations for the development of sport in Australia. The Foundation’s listing in the Income Tax Assessment Act (1997) (Subdivision30-B, s30-90) means donations to our project of $2 or more are tax deductible.

FAQs

Who Are The Pararoos?

The Pararoos are Australia's only National Football Team for athletes with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or symptoms acquired from stroke.

In 2015, after the Australian Sports Commission withdrew all government funding, FFA partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) to establish a tax-deductible fund to raise money to support their footballing dreams.

How Can You Help?

As they embark on their Road to the 2019 World Cup, the Pararoos need your help to achieve their dreams.

Just like our Socceroos and Matildas, the Pararoos need a long-term high-performance program in order to compete on the world stage –  quality coaching and medical staff, sports science programs, regular training camps and world’s best video analysis.

Everyone can donate to the Pararoos  – businesses, sponsors, football fans and everyday Australians - every dollar raised through the Australian Sports Foundation will go directly to the Pararoos.

And every dollar over $2 donated is tax deductible.

Donating to the Pararoos will not only help get the team to the 2019 World Cup, but it will also encourage many more aspiring disabled footballers to continue to strive for their dream.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
