BAKE-OFF Competition & Charity Cake Sale -
Are you the next budding amateur baker in the area? Think you bake the chocolatiest chocolate cake in the city? The best biscuits in town? The best slice this side of the world? If so, why not enter our upcoming Bake-OFF and have the chance to be the crown best baker in town!!!
How It Works
Chicks Conquering Cancer will be hosting a Bake-OFF competition on Saturday 30th September 2017 10am-1pm
If you're interested in taking part, please email for a application form to kychicksconqueringcancer@gmail.com. And return it by Thursday 28th September 2017.
All entries will be required to be at Dorrington House Jimboomba by 9am and must be there no later them 9.30am on the 30th September 2017. Judging will commence at 10am with all winners being announced at 10.30am.
Cost will be $5 per entry item and you may enter in as many categories and as many Items as you wish. e.g. 3 items entered will cost $15
Entry on the day will be $10pp (morning tea inc.)
Each Category will be judged with three winners in each.
Categories are as follows
- Decorated Cake
2 Decorated cupcake
3.Savory Section
4.Tray Bake
- Ugliest Cake
- U12 Decorated Cake
CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS
DECORATED CAKE: Any type/flavoured cake and can be decorated in any form of decorating items and/or technique. AFTER judging has been completed these cakes will be put up for auction with all proceeds going to Chicks Conquering Cancer
DECORATED CUPCAKE: Any type/flavoured cupcake and must be decorated using a form of cream or icing. any form of decorating items may be used e.g. sugar paste, edible balls, fondant decorations. After judging is complete these items will be up for tasting
SAVORY SECTION: Any form of baked good that is of a savory nature in taste. e.g. scrolls, savory muffins, quiche. After judging is complete these items will be available for tasting
TRAY BAKE: Any form of baked goods that can be baked on a tray e.g. slices, biscuits, scones, muffins. After judging is complete these items will be available for tasting
UGLIEST CAKE: Any form of cake that you deem to be ugly e.g. badly decorated, unpleasant looking after judging is complete these items will be available for tasting
U12 DECORATED CAKE: Any type/flavoured cake and can be decorated using any form of decorating technique and/or items. AFTER judging has been completed these cakes will be put up for auction with all proceeds going to Chicks Conquering Cancer
