On Friday evening, 20 October, thousands of people will join the fight against MS and walk in the 19th annual MS Moonlight Walk.

This leisurely 5km or 10km walk is a fun way to share a Friday night with friends, loved ones, work colleagues, students, community groups and is a family favourite. Walkers come dressed in an array of costumes and the start line at the Cultural Forecourt at South Bank Parklands is truly a sight to behold. There are tutus, tiaras, special team outfits, super heroes, fluoro, a sea of colours and more!

Each walker receives their very own MS lantern that lights up the walk path and signifies unity as thousands gather to walk for a common cause: to help raise much needed funding for people living with MS. Beginning at dusk, with lanterns in hand, walkers will take in the best of the Brisbane River, including the illuminated Kangaroo Point Cliffs, Story Bridge and lush Botanic Gardens before crossing the Goodwill Bridge to continue the fun with live music at South Bank.

Help us celebrate the beauty of this special event and join us in the Walk to Fight MS. Enjoy a variety of entertainment along the way with dazzling fire twirlers, musicians, complimentary refreshment stations and an array of food vendors to visit at the finish line where you can relax and enjoy listening to a live band.

This year’s walk is expected to be the biggest yet and raise $600,000 to fund support services for more than 3,700 Queenslanders living with MS, and fund research projects to find a cure.  Get involved today!

SIGN UP today at MoonlightWalk.com.au and help raise awareness and funds to support people living with MS.
