Clare Valley Experience Fundraiser for Arthritis SA - Has Ended

You are invited to enjoy the beautiful Clare Valley with an opportunity to raise funds for Arthritis SA. Thanks to the generosity of the community, Arthritis SA has been able to fund the position for a Paediatric Rheumatology Nurse, Tracy Rose,  at the Adelaide Women's and Children's Hospital to support and educate particularly new families of a child with arthritis. Tracy's position has assisted in reducing waiting times, improved communication between patients and families in relation to their diagnosis, treatment and management and increased patient satisfaction.  All funds raised over the weekend will contribute to continuing the wonderful work that Tracy is doing for a further 12 months.  

A Winery Walk for a 10km loop from Skillogalee Cellar Door will be a learning experiance hosted by local teacher and Boston Marathon runner Kirsty Gwynn-Jones on Saturday 12th August at 11am. The trail may include some off road rambling so please dress appropriately including sturdy footwear. Walkers can indulge in a complementry glass of O'Leary Walker wine at the end of the hike but please bring your own water supply. There is no charge for this event but we will be accepting donations and we thank you in advance for giving generously.

The highlight of the weekend is a sumptuous gala winter feast and silent auction on Saturday 12 August 2017 at 6 pm in the O’Leary Walker Cellar Door, Leasingham SA. Guests will be greeted with a glass of bubbles on arrival before being seated for a 3 course meal. Wine will be served with each course accompanied by O'Leary Walker winemaker Keeda Zilm presenting tasting notes. After dinner, wine will be available for sale by the glass and can be purchased to take home. A percentage of after dinner wine sales will be donated to Arthritis SA. Dress code: Cocktail. We have partnered with Skillogalee to provide accomodation on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of August with a percentage of the cottage tariff to be donated to Arthritis SA. To round off the weekend we invite you to join us in the Skillogalee Resturant for an early lunch at 11:30am.
