Farm Animal Rescue Silent Art Auction And Market Day - Has Ended

Carla Benzie a recognised, award winning artist from Brisbane collaborated with Simone Parker, a Brisbane based Fashion Stylist to create a unique way to bring awareness and raise funds for Farm Animal Rescue (FAR). FAR whose slogan is Friends not Food, is a place of refuge for animals that have been freed from abusive situations and factory farms.

The collaboration brought together some very well know Vegans such as Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Dean, James Aspey a public speaker whose goal is to increase peace through education, encouragement and inspiration, Billy Simmonds an entrepreneur, martial artist, bodybuilder, performer and winner of the 2009 INBA Mr Universe title, most notably, an advocate for the ethical treatment of animals, for human health, and the environment as well as Stacey Parish the LeanGreenie, Gemma Winchester founder of Vegoutt, well known Chef Alejandro Cancino and Moo Free Burger founders and Charlies group Michael and Johnny.

What actually took place at this collaboration is a closely guarded secret. However, all will be revealed on Saturday 26 August at the Carla Benzie Gallery and Studio from 4.00pm to 8.00pm at a major fundraising event for Farm Animal Rescue. It is a date that you must put into your calendars as there will be entertainment, a silent art auction, entertainment, ethical and vegan fashion pop-up stalls and vegan products pop up stalls and visits put some very well-known celebrities. Oh and did I mention that the Moo-free Burger truck will be their!?!?!?
