Many thanks to all those listing their fundraising events and appeals on CharityDOs – user numbers were up 50% again this month and we keep growing……

New South Wales Trends in Fundraisers on CharityDOs

NSW is listing the largest number of fundraisers on CharityDOs. Many hundreds of NSW charity and NFP fundraisers have been listed on CharityDOs.com.au since June – mostly in the greater Sydney region. However, NSW regional and rural areas, such as the Central Coast, Katoomba, the Blue Mountains and west to Orange and Dubbo, Cooma and the Snowy Mountains, and north coast Lismore and Murwillumbah have also listed interesting fundraising events.

NSW Charity Fundraisers in October include – many Pink Ribbon events, Walks to Cure Diabetes, 2013 Brainwave Fundraising Gala, The World’s Longest Yoga Chain, Lifeline Petersham Book Fair and a McGrath Foundation Signature High Tea.

Community/third party events are becoming increasingly important as charities encourage supporters to hold fundraising activities. In particular, supporters of charities such as Bravehearts, White Ribbon and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) are holding community fundraisers across Australia in the near future, please support them.
