Melbourne Cup Charity Fundraisers
Melbourne Cup is now upon us with a bumper crop of Melbourne Cup charity fundraisers now listed on CharityDOs from across Australia. November 5 is one of the biggest charity fundraising days on the Australian calendar. Charities are partnering with hotels, cafes and restaurants for a Melbourne Cup Luncheon or Chari-Tea with raffle, sweep or other fundraising activities. Surprisingly, there seem to be more Melbourne Cup charity fundraisers happening in Perth and Queensland than in Melbourne – the home of the Melbourne Cup? Interesting!
