Commencing at Dig Tree in Queensland on 20 August 2014, the Big Burke & Wills Trek will coincide with the ill-fated date that Robert O'Hara Burke and William John Wills began the original expedition, bumbling their way out of Melbourne 154 years earlier. 

The 2014 Big Burke and Wills Trek marks the beginning of a new modern pioneering endeavour - replicating a portion of the original route, this time bound for success in terms of both personal accomplishment and fundraising efforts.

The expedition is designed to be authentic, tracing the faded footsteps of the initial four-man party for 330km north across the breathtaking Australian landscape, sleeping beneath the stars at campsites along the way, accompanied by a herd of friendly camels, growing beards in true Burke & Wills spirit, and safely guided and supported throughout by a highly organised professional team of experts.

Event dates: 5 day option: 20-24 August 5 day option: 25-29 August 11 day option: 20-30 August

Fees:  5 day Trek: Event fee of $2,675 applies plus a minimum fundraising goal of $1,000  11 day Trek: Event fee of $3,775 applies plus a minimum fundraising goal of $1,000
